After dropping my droid x on the tile in the kitchen, I was surprised to find a huge spiderweb crack on my phone. After deciding I wanted to repair it rather than replace it, I ordered the parts and waited for them to come in.  I had to order a digitizer screen, a gasket, and the adhesive strip that holds the glass in the phone case.  [singlepic id=155 w=320 h=240 float=right] I also had to order a special set of torque screw drivers; the ones used on the phone are very small: t-3 and t-5 (which I obviously did NOT have)

The parts came in and cleared my desk and went to work. The ribbon cables used in the phone are incredibly thin and small and I realized how badly I need a magnifying glass. I replaced the screen, put it back together and voila! I have a working viable phone again.[singlepic id=156 w=320 h=240 float=left]
